Our story began in the fall of 2023. Love was in the air as friends gathered at a friend’s house for Friendsgiving. The big event wasn’t the turkey, it was the long anticipated meet-cute they had arranged for Daniel and me. Our friends had been telling me for awhile that I had to meet this amazing guy, with beautiful green eyes, that they knew was just perfect for me. This was the moment they had been waiting for! Unfortunately our story took a pause as I was overwhelmed with school and had to cancel last minute to study for finals. Juliza and Landon were crushed by the news (and rumor is Daniel was by far the most upset!).

Luckily, our story didn’t end before it even began. Trusting our friends, I took a chance and said yes when he called and asked me out for later that week. Now the real story began when I opened the door and saw his eyes were a million times greener than advertised, and he had a smile that could light up every room. The deal was done when we started talking and the ease of our conversation convinced me that I wanted him to be the main character in my story forever.

For the story to continue, I needed Daniel to meet the two main guys in my life, Charlie Smalls and Finn. Charlie was won over immediately, and has been obsessed with Daniel ever since (at the cost of an occasional hot dog of course). Now the tougher of the two had to be convinced, my brother Finn. Turns out I should have gone to that Friendsgiving as my finals didn’t go so well and I was crushed. The night that I got the results, I opened my door only to find both Finn and Daniel standing there - both of them with bouquets in hand. What more could a girl want? The future brothers-in-law had met in the hallway and from that moment on, they both found the brother in each other than neither of them ever had.

We’ve added more chapters to our story over the past two years with Buffalo Bills games, pickleball matches, endless golf outings, trips to Colorado and Mexico for weddings, family trips, our adoption of Clara Bow (my cat) together, lots and lots of concerts, poker nights, get-togethers with friends, and most importantly, our date nights.

The most exciting chapter of our story was written on Feb 7, 2026 when Daniel got on one knee, pulled out a ring and said the words I couldn’t wait to hear, “will you marry me?”.

It really is a love story, and baby, of course I said YES!
